The Grand Rapids Jaycees Santa Parade will
begin on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 9 a.m. in downtown Grand
Rapids. The parade will begin at the corner of Michigan Avenue and
Monroe Avenue, traveling south on Monroe, turning left onto Monroe
Center, right onto Division Avenue, right onto Fulton Avenue and left
onto Market Avenue. Parking will be free in downtown city lots until Noon.
Photos with Santa sponsored by ITC Holdings - Photos will be held at the Grand Rapids Art Museum Education Center following the parade
until Noon. Children are invited to visit with Santa and take home a
complimentary photo. After getting your photo you are encouraged to enjoy the GRAM for $1 admission.
Key to the Children's Hearts Presentation - Greg Sundstrom, City Manager, Karyn Boyd, ITC Holdings, and John
Greko, President of the Grand Rapids Jaycees will present Santa with
the key to Children's Hearts at Rosa Parks Circle at approximately
10:15am.
